Cincinnati Children’s No. 1 in Ohio in ranking of America’s Best Large Employers by Forbes
Cincinnati Children’s has again been named one of America’s Best Large Employers by Forbes.
Of the 701 companies recognized, Cincinnati Children’s ranked No. 30 nationally – in the top four percent across all industries.
In addition, Cincinnati Children’s was the highest-ranked company in Ohio to make the list of America’s Best Large Employers for 2025.
With over 19,500 employees and 1.7 million patient encounters annually, Cincinnati Children’s is the largest employer and health system in Southwest Ohio. This marks the seventh year Cincinnati Children’s has made the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers.

Forbes and market research firm Statista compiled the latest ranking of America’s Best Large Employers based on a survey of over 217,000 people working for companies with at least 1,000 employees. The survey evaluated employees’ assessments on things such as Atmosphere & Development, Salary & Wage, Company Image, Diversity, Working Conditions and Workplace Environment.
Cincinnati Children’s is ranked among the best pediatric health systems in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024-25 listing of Best Children’s Hospitals, including No. 1 in pediatric cancer care, gastroenterology and pulmonology. Cincinnati Children’s also ranks among the nation’s best for pediatric and adolescent behavioral health. Forbes has ranked Cincinnati Children’s as one of the nation’s Best Employers for Women and one of the Best Employers for New Grads. Fortune recognized Cincinnati Children’s as one of America’s Most Innovative Companies.
