Bright Elementary teachers recognized

At the Bright Local Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, March 15, the following four Bright Elementary teachers were recognized for their state of Ohio testing honors:

• Sharon Bick's fourth-grade math scores from the spring of 2015 were the second highest in the seven-county region, exceeding the classroom passage rate for the state of Ohio;

• Katie Pollard's fifth-grade math scores from the spring of 2015 were the sixth highest in the seven-county region, exceeding the classroom passage rate for the state of Ohio;

• Jackie Broughton's third-grade math scores from the spring of 2015 exceeded the classroom passage rate for the state of Ohio; and,

• Heather Roberts’ fourth-grade social studies scores from the spring of 2015 exceeded the classroom passage rate for the state of Ohio.
