Arson suspected in Clermont County house fire; investigators seeking tips

Investigators with the Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual(s) responsible for a suspected arson at a Batavia residence.
The Clermont County Fire Investigation Team responded Tuesday, Sept. 20 at approximately 8:30 p.m. to a fire at 2385 Vista Lake Drive, Batavia.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
The investigation is being handled jointly by the Division of State Fire Marshal and the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.
The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this fire.
