AMfg Labs, LLC announces expansion in Belmont County

AMfg Labs, LLC, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) and Belmont County Port Authority, Thursday announced an investment of over $1.1 million to expand its operations in Belmont County, creating 15 new jobs.

The investment is being supported by a $350,000 JobsOhio Revitalization Grant.

“AMfg Labs is an innovative, Ohio-founded company creating American-made products critical to the U.S. industrial sector and national defense,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “The revitalization of its current building will allow AMfg to expand operations, create new jobs in the advanced manufacturing space, and continue to advance its cutting-edge injection molding and 3D printing solutions for its growing list of clients.”

Established in Barnesville in 2022, AMfg Labs is an advanced manufacturing and R&D product development center that focuses on high-performing materials and processes that leverage the new and innovative forming technologies associated with casting, injection molding and 3D printing. The process produces molds or structures essential for producing intricate composite materials, notably used in industries like aerospace, defense and automotive.

AMfg Labs is committed to driving onshoring of manufacturing in the US and eastern Ohio through innovation around advanced manufacturing. The company is expanding its facility space to set up 3D printers, injection molding machines, composite fabrication, sintering and a training center to support its growth and industry demand.

The JobsOhio Revitalization Program offers loans and grants to bridge the financial gap between the appealing cost of brownfield sites and the cost of site redevelopment. This program mitigates financial risk and accelerates projects, returning land and buildings to productive use more efficiently.
