The American Carbon Alliance commends Reps. Brad Schneider (IL-10), Dan Kildee (MI-08), and Julia Brownley (CA-26) for introducing the Expanding Clean Fuel Production Act, a pivotal piece of legislation that extends the Section 45Z clean fuel production credit for an additional 10 years.

This initiative underscores the growing momentum toward a cleaner energy future, and the American Carbon Alliance is proud to support this effort.

Tom Buis, CEO of the American Carbon Alliance, issued the following statement:

“We wholeheartedly support the introduction of the Expanding Clean Fuel Production Act and we’d encourage others to sign on to this effort. By extending the 45Z tax credit, this legislation provides the long-term certainty that is crucial for industries investing in clean fuel technologies, particularly carbon capture. This bill helps advance the U.S. as a global leader in clean energy.”

The American Carbon Alliance (ACA) is formed to be one unified voice for carbon capture pipelines, ethanol producers, landowners, farmers, construction trade workers and citizens that embrace this new energy future for America. Working together, this alliance will strengthen America’s agricultural economy, ensure a future marketplace for American produced liquid fuel and improve the environment for all.
