4 car accidents reported in Highland County Tuesday

The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District responded to four car accidents in Highland County on Tuesday.

According to Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District Public Information Officer Branden Jackman, four accidents, including one south of Hillsboro, one in Rainsboro and two in the Greenfield area took place after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

A one-car rollover on state Route 138 between Bectal and Worley Mill Roads at approximately 4 p.m. resulted in injuries. A female passenger was transported via MedFlight to Kettering, Jackman said.

An accident involving two vehicles and an Amish buggy occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. Tuesday on North Shore Drive. Jackson said that no injuries were reported, and all parties involved refused treatment.

Another rollover accident occurred in Greenfield on the corner of Jefferson and Sixth Streets at 6:24 p.m.. One female was transported with minor injuries. According to Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester, one male fled the scene. The department is currently trying to identify the individual.

Before midnight, a man swerved to miss a deer on state Route 247 south of Hillsboro and rolled his vehicle. No injuries were reported in that accident, according to Jackman.
