Fonda Charlene Chandler (Sprinkle)

Fonda Charlene Chandler (Sprinkle), 79, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Highland County, the daughter of the late Clifford Eugene and Adelia Irene (Cochran) Sprinkle.

She had lived at the Pants Factory Apartments for several years. Fonda had numerous special friends. She loved taking care of her cats, her plants and was very devoted to her family genealogy. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in the class of 1961.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Linda S. Sprinkle of Hillsboro; two nieces, Tracy (Craig) Hall of Sidney and Terra (James) Burton of Hillsboro, and a nephew, Travis Sprinkle of Hillsboro; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Eugene Sprinkle.

In keeping with her wishes, the graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 at 1 p.m. at New Market Cemetery. Gary Furnish will officiate. Friends are welcome to attend. Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
