Fairfield High School standout guard Gage Montgomery has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Southern State Community College.
“I was highly impressed with this young man the first time we sat down and talked regarding his academic and athletic accomplishments,” said Dr. J.R. Roush, SSCC Dean of Core Studies. “Gage has received numerous academic accolades and received multiple recognitions for his accomplishments on and off the court. I am very excited about Gage coming to Southern State, and hope the communities we serve will take advantage of watching this young man continue his play at SSCC.”
During his senior year, Montgomery was a member of the Fairfield District Championship Team, All SHAC Team (Southern Hills Athletic Conference), Coaches All District 2nd Team, A.P. All District 2nd Team, All Ohio Honorable Mention, District 14 All Star Participant, and C103 All Star Participant.[[In-content Ad]]
