Mangus wins the 2010 SHL cross country championship

Fairfield freshman Michael Mangus won the varsity boys Southern Hills League championship at Ripley, on Saturday with a time of 17:10. 

Mangus is the first cross country runner in Fairfield history to win the SHL title. 

The team finished third behind champion Fayetteville and second-place North Adams.

Named to the All SHL Team were Mangus, freshman Blake Hildebrant who finished third place with a time of 17:35 and sophomore John Cain who finished 11th with a time of 18:36.[[In-content Ad]]
