Mangus runs at Akron Indoor meet

Fairfield senior Michael Mangus ran his personal best track times at the Akron Jerome Fields Indoor track meet held on Jan. 11 on the campus of University of Akron.

Mangus ran 4:29:48 in the 1600-meter and 9:36.69 in the 3200m races.  

The senior also placed first in both events.  

The Fairfield High School Board recently recognized indoor track, so that athletes who have qualifying times for the indoor state track meet are able to participate.
