Lady Mustangs place 3rd at SHAC Championships

The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs placed third at the 2014 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Championships, followed by Whiteoak in fifth and Fairfield in ninth.  

LC scored 85.50 points for their third-place finish, followed by WHS with 54 points and FHS with four points. 

Winning the girls championship were the Eastern Brown Lady Warriors with 172 points. Manchester placed second with 104.50 points. In fourth was West Union (63), while Ripley was tied for fifth with 54 points. Fayetteville scored 23 points for seventh, and in eighth was Peebles with 18 points. 

Bailey Leininger of Lynchburg-Clay was first in the discus event with a throw of 90-05.
