The Fairfield Lady Lions soccer program has won two of their past three soccer matches, including one of those wins being a Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory.
Overall this season, the Lady Lions are 3-1-0, beginning their season with a win over the McClain Lady Tigers and even more recently gaining wins over both Peebles and the Washington Lady Blue Lions. The loss came in a match against Southeastern.

As for the most recent win, that came against the Lady Blue Lions as the Fairfield Lady Lions won by a 16-1 score.
Fairfield was the visitor at Washington’s Gardner Park, and in that non-conference win Fairfield led by a 9-0 score at halftime. FHS outscored Washington, 7-1 in the second half.
For FHS, Shay Turner had a hat trick, while also ending the match with four assists.
Carly Arnold also had a hat trick for the Lady Lions. Kara Walters was the third Lady Lions player to gain a hat trick, netting three goals.
The fourth hat trick for FHS was Abby Newkirk, as Newkirk also collected two assists.
Lyndee Spargur finished with two goals, as did teammate Riley McKinley.
Mackenzi Williams finished with an assist. For the match, the Lady Lions of Fairfield totaled 41 shots at goal.
Against Peebles last Friday, the Lady Lions won by an 8-1 score, including having a 3-0 lead at halftime. FHS then added five goals in the second half while allowing just one goal in the same half by Peebles.
Arnold finished the match with four goals, or the hat trick plus one, in the SHAC match. Also with a hat trick was Newkirk with three goals and one assist for the night. Walters totaled one goal in the win.
In the loss to Southeastern, FHS trailed 2-1 at the half and played even with the Lady Panthers in the second half, with each team scoring two goals in what was a 4-3 defeat by SEHS.
Goals in the non-conference match for FHS included two from Newkirk and one by Arnold. McKinley had an assist.
