Lady Lions fall to Southeastern

The Fairfield Lady Lions played a tough Southeastern team Saturday and left Ross County with a loss, falling by a 60-28 score at SEHS.

FHS (3-7, 6-11) scored just 13 points in the first half, then added 12 more in the final two quarters combined. For the Lady Panthers of SEHS, they scored 26 points in the first half and 34 more in the third and fourth quarters combined.

Kaitlin Evans led FHS with 12 points, followed by Grace Shope with 11. Also in the scoring column for the Lady Lions were Haley Bobb with three points and Abby Newkirk with two.

As for Evans, eight of her 12 points came from the free-throw line, and Shope scored seven of her 11 points also from foul shot shooting.

Ella Skeens led the Lady Panthers with a game-high 25 points. Logan Goebel scored 17, as she made five 3-pointers and two free throws.
