Hillsboro girls place 8th at Ohio Classic

The Hillsboro girls raced at the 2014 Ohio Classic at Liberty Park in Hillsboro on Saturday, where they finished in eighth place overall.

There were a total of 10 teams and 96 runners in the girls race.

Junior Reaghan Haines was the highest finisher for HHS at 16th place with a time of 23:47.

Winning the event was Adena's Taylor Clarkson, a junior, with a time of 21:23.

Also running for HHS was junior Lizzie Tamborski, finishing in 34th place at 25:14.

Other HHS times included: Caitlin Foley (26:05), Madi St. Clair (27:35), Ceairra Neal (27:57) and Emily Young (28:59).

FHS had one girls runner in sophomore Haleigh Bates with a time of 36:27.
