Hillsboro, Fairfield soccer scrimmage at new Hillsboro Sports Complex

The Hillsboro Indians hosted a boys soccer scrimmage on Tuesday as they hosted their Highland County counterpart, the Fairfield Lions, for a preseason matchup at the new Hillsboro Sports Complex by Hillsboro High School.

The Indians and Lions were scheduled for two 30 minute periods for the varsity players and one 20 minutes contest with the JV teams.


[[In-content Ad]]Hillsboro is scheduled to open the '14 season on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 11:30 a.m. against the Eastern Brown Warriors at EBHS. Their home opener will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19 vs. Chillicothe in a South Central Ohio League matchup.

For the Lions, their season opener is on Aug. 23 at Piketon. The first home match for Fairfield is on Aug. 27 vs. North Adams.
