Highland County soccer season set to begin

The 2013 high school soccer season is set to begin starting this Saturday, while some teams will open on Monday.
For Hillsboro, both the boys and girls varsity teams will open the season at home against Eastern on Saturday (Aug. 17) starting with the boys game at 2 p.m., followed by the girls game.
[[In-content Ad]]The HHS girls team will travel to Unioto on Tuesday, Aug. 20 for a 5:30 p.m. game, while the boys team will host Warren Saturday, Aug. 24 at 2:30 p.m.
The McClain girls soccer season will begin with a road games, as they travel to Circleville Monday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. and return home to host Ripley on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. The McClain boys soccer team will start the season at home against Waverly on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m., followed by a road game at Unioto on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls seasons will begin Saturday, Aug. 17 starting at 10 a.m. as they travel to Georgetown, followed by games Monday evening at home against Western Brown starting at 4:30 p.m.
The Fairfield boys and girls soccer seasons begin with two road games, traveling to face Fayetteville Tuesday, Aug. 20 and playing at North Adams on Friday, Aug. 23. The boys team will start both events at 4:30 p.m.
