Highland County Hammers finish 7-3

The Highland County Hammers 13U baseball team recently completed another successful season. The Hammers played in the Central Ohio Youth Baseball League (COYBL) American Silver division and finished the season in second place in their division with a record of 7-3.

The Hammers played a more competitive schedule than last year playing teams in the Southwest Ohio League and Mid-West Ohio League as well as COYBL and finished with an overall record was 16 wins and 14 losses which included tournaments in Wilmington, Miamisburg, Greenville and Hillsboro.

The Hammers would like to thank their sponsors Southern Hills Community Bank, and Karen and Rodney Rose and are grateful for their support the last two years. The Hammers would also like to thank the Village of Leesburg for the use of the ballpark facility again this year.

The Hammers will once again be competing in COYBL next year beginning in late April to early May and will play a 30-40 game competitive schedule to include 3-4 tournaments. Contact 937-763-7999 if interested in playing baseball in 2015 for the 14U Highland County Hammers.
