Highland County gymnasts place 3rd at international competition

Last month, nine local athletes represented Aerial's Athletics in a large international competition in Las Vegas, Nev.
The three trios competing in acrobatic gymnastics were the only athletes from Ohio among the 800 athletes. The competitors attending the 2nd Vegas Acro Cup included athletes from eight different countries. The three local trios were a strong representation of the quality program offered at Aerial's.

The local athletes’ results include:
• Junior Elite, fourth place: Kiley Allen of Blanchester, Jayme Maynard of Hillsboro and Grace Vance of Wilmington;
• Level 10, bronze medalists: Megan Conover of Hillsboro, Kealey James of Blanchester and Sammi Shepherd of Leesburg; and
• Level 9, 12th place: Meri Grace Carson of Washington CH, Shayla Earley of Wilmington and Makenna Tolliver of Wilmington.
