Fairfield’s Kaiti White named 2nd team All-Ohio

The Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association has selected Fairfield junior Kaiti White to the Division III second-team All-Ohio as a pitcher for the 2018 season.
This is the second consecutive year White has been selected to an All-Ohio team, as last year she was a member of the Division IV first team with Fairfield moving to Division III this season.
In her 2018 junior season, White pitched in 26 games, making 25 starts and finishing with a 19-6 overall record. White pitched in 152.2 innings, allowing 29 earned runs with a 1.32 ERA. White this season also walked just 15 batters and struck out 242 batters, including 205 swinging third strikes and 37 called third strikes.

At the plate for the 2018 season, White played in all 27 games, where in 88 at-bats she had a .500 batting average with a .648 slugging percentage and a .602 on-base percentage. White also scored 29 runs and totaled 44 hits with 33 singles, 10 doubles and one home run.
The Fairfield Lady Lions finished the season 20-7 overall, winning a SHAC and district championship.
