LIONS 2nd at XC Classic – Despite having three runners missing due to the Highland County Fair, the Fairfield boys Jr. High cross country  team  finished second out of 11 schools at the 10th annual Xenia Christian Ambassador XC Classic Sept. 12. The meet was won by Beavercreek Ferguson Jr. High. The record for the season now stands at 60-4. Scoring for the Lions were:  Michael Mangus, 1st, 11:27; Wyatt Crothers, 9th, 12.45; Quintin Schaffer 26th, 14:14; Dalton Kerns, 35th, 14:38; Matthew Leach 40th, 14:54. Colin Davis, Jacob Chamblin and Keenan Davis also completed.
