Fairfield Middle School girls 2nd at SHAC Championships

The Fairfield Middle School girls finished runner-up at the 2014 Southern Hills Athletc Conference Middle-School Cross-Country Championships, Saturday, at Ripley High School.

The girls were second overall to Manchester by a mere five points (37-42). 

Finishing third as a team was Eastern with 43 points, followed in fourth was Whiteoak with 117 points, and in fifth was Ripley with 125 points. North Adams, Lynchburg, Peebles, Fayetteville and West Union did not field full teams.


[[In-content Ad]]Finishing first for Fairfield and fourth overall was Megan Gragg with a time of 14:00.

In eighth was Alexis Swisher (14:34); and also in the Top 10 in 10th was Ailean Duffie (14:48).

In 11th was Racheal Schuler (14:49), Lauren Arnold in 18th (15:14), Brianna Barnes in 29th (16:48) and Meadow Cunningham in 34th (17:31).
