The Fairfield Lions boys cross-country team keeps winning or placing as runners-up this season. Their success on the running paths has led to success in the Division III State Cross-Country rankings.

In the coaches rankings released on Thursday, the Lions are standing at No. 4 overall, earning 140 points in the coaches vote. Fairfield is coming off a most recent win this past Saturday at the Unioto Invitational.

Also, the Lions were second at the Panther Invitational at Pickerington North High School, and won at the Bob Reall Invitational in Lancaster in recent weeks.

Fairfield this fall has had much success not just against Division III teams, but Division II teams as well, as they prepare for the upcoming Southern Hills Athletic Conference Meet this weekend.
