Fairfield boys golf tops Blanchester, LC

The Fairfield boys golf team played at the Wilmington Elks on Tuesday (Aug. 30), coming away with two victories over both Blanchester and Lynchburg-Clay.

Fairfield scored a 191 to defeat the Blanchester Wildcats (192), and the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (201).

Scores for the Lions included: Dale Back (48), Ryland Donley (45), Conner Shoemaker (49), Brandon Vidourek (49) and Justin Sowders (61).

Medalist of the match was Eric McLaughlin (40) from Lynchburg-Clay.

The next match for FHS will be at Hilltop Golf Course on Sept. 12.
