Fairfield boys golf falls to Eastern Brown

The Fairfield Lions boys golf team visited Eastern Brown at Buttermilk Falls in Georgetown, falling to the Warriors, 184-205.

Jordan Johnson of Eastern Brown was the medalist for the match by shooting a 41 on the back nine.

The Lions were led by Ryland Donley with a score of 48, followed by Dale Back, who shot a 50. Other scores for the Lions included: Conner Shoemaker (53), Bryson Simmons (54), Brandon Vidourek (57) and Wyatt Willey (60).

Fairfield’s next match is Monday, Aug. 15 at White Oak Golf Course vs. the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and the Whiteoak Wildcats in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play among the three Highland County schools.
