Fairfield 7th grade girls basketball dominates Eastern; moves to 8-0

The Fairfield seventh grade girls basketball team won in dominating fashion in their recent game against the Eastern Lady Warriors, winning by a 47-9 score.

Fairfield led 16-5 at the end of the first quarter, and after a 15-4 second frame, they led by a 31-9 score at halftime. In the second half, Fairfield scored 12 points in the third, and neither team scored a point in the fourth quarter.

Mya Hamilton was the leading scorer with 27 points, followed by Kassi Miller with six points. Also for Fairfield, Hannah Hamilton and Mackenzie Anderson each scored points, while Isabelle Brunck, Aylah Humphreys and Claire Newkirk each scored two points.

The win improves the Lady Lions to 8-0 overall this season.
