Evans earns Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors

Seventeen Wilmington College student-athletes from the fall sports season earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors, the conference announced Tuesday.

Among the WC honorees is senior Kaitlin Evans of Leesburg, a Fairfield graduate who is a member of the women’s soccer team. Evans, an athletic training major, had a 3.81 GPA for the fall semester.

Academic All-Conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) at the end of the semester preceding the end of the fall season. The student-athlete must also be a member of a varsity team as well as be enrolled in a full-time capacity.

• Nick Rice, So., Football, Agriculture, 3.71.

• Dusty Lykins, Jr., Football, Business Administration, 4.00.

• Gabriel Nygard, Jr., Men's Soccer, Business Administration, 3.85.

• Sarah Pierce, Sr., Women's Soccer, Sport Management, 3.60.

• Hanna Greaney, Sr., Women's Soccer, Sport Management, 3.61.

• Amy Johnson, Jr., Women's Soccer, Agriculture, 3.96.
