3rd annual Twilight Glow Run to be held July 28

The 3rd Annual Twilight Glow Run will be held on Friday, July 28 at the Highland County North Joint Fire & Ambulance Station, located on 200 South Street in Leesburg.
Registration and check-in is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. There will be chip timing this year, and runners can pre-register at registrationspot.com or by mail.

There will be a photo booth, T-shirts, a DJ, glow necklaces and a tunnel. This is a community event.
There will be prizes for the “brightest” runner in each race, and there will also be glow paint, along with awards for age groups.
The kiddie dash will begin at 8:30 p.m. for children ages 5 and under, with an entry fee of $5, as that includes a glow necklace. Pre-registration is not required.
The one-mile race is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. with a $20 pre-registration, and that includes a glow necklace and T-shirt.
The 5K race begins at 10 p.m. with a $20 pre-registration, and that includes a glow necklace and T-shirt.
For each age group, prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers, plus the top three in each age group in the 1 Mile and 5K races. The age groups are:
• 1 Mile Race: 7 and under, 8-11, 12-15, 16 and up.
• 5K: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 and up.
Proceeds benefit the Fairfield cross-country teams. The registration fee is $25 after July 17.
This is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be issued. In case of severe weather (lightning), the event will be rescheduled and participants will be notified of the new date by email.
Registration forms must be completed online or received by mail on or before July 17 to guarantee T-shirt. Make check payable to Fairfield Athletic Boosters. Mail check to Twilight Glow Run c/o Debbie Mangus, P.O. Box 535, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. You may also register online at registrationspot.com.
To register, please provide each participant’s name, sex, phone number, address, email address, age on race day, shirt size (youth M-XL or adult S-XL) and race you will be participating in.
Participants will also need to sign a liability release form and media release form.
