3 FMS runners race at State

Three Middle School students from Fairfield (Leesburg) participated in the Ohio Middle and Elementary School State Championship Cross-Country Meet held in Groveport on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Teigan Thackston placed 22nd, and the two boys placed eighth and ninth in the top 15 runners in the Gold Division III.

Noah Richmond placed eighth with a time of 11:13, and Austin Setty placed ninth with a time of 11:19 out of 56 runners. Overall, they placed 12th and 13th out of the Gold/Silver Division with a total of 193 runners.[[In-content Ad]]
