12-0: Fairfield 7th grade girls basketball defeats Peebles

For the 12th time in 12 games this season, the Fairfield Lady Lions girls basketball team left the court with a victory, and this time they defeated the Peebles Lady Indians by a 39-16 score in Peebles.

It was all Fairfield early on with the seventh graders gaining a 21-5 lead at the conclusion of the opening frame. Next was a 4-2 second quarter for a 25-7 halftime lead.

The second half still belonged to Fairfield with a 9-2 third frame in their favor, followed bya fourth quarter where they scored five points and Peebles tallied seven points.

Mya Hamilton led the way for Fairfield with 30 points, while Hannah Hamilton scored four points, Mackenzie Anderson had three points and Kassi Miller totaled two points to complete the scoring.

The win improves the Fairfield seventh grade girls team to 12-0 overall.
