10 Highland County golfers earn All-District honors

The SEODGCA announced the All-District teams for Division I, II and III this week, where 10 Highland County golfers earned the honor.

One golfer, Hillsboro senior Austin Bagshaw was named first-team in Division I, while teammates Jacob DeAtley and Alex Van Zant each were named second-team in Division I.

In Division II girls, McClain's Shania Massie was second team, and also named second team in Division III boys was Zach Schuler of Fairfield.

Division II girls also saw Kaylee Smith of McClain and Grace Larrick of Fairfield named honorable mention.

In Division I boys, Travis Wehrung (HHS) was honorable mention, and in Division II, Aaron Sharp of McClain was also named honorable mention. Brad Bumgarner of Fairfield was Division III honorable mention.
