Lead Summary
By
Kenzee Martin & Kelsey Oliver-

On Sept. 26, Whiteoak High School seniors loaded a bus and headed to Hillsboro High School for a college fair and visited Highland County community leaders.

At the college fair, the seniors were able to gather information regarding the colleges of their interest. They were able to speak with the representatives as well.

As they were meeting with the community leaders, seniors were able to hear job descriptions from multiple leaders, including Highland County Recorder Chad McConnaughey, Highland County Clerk of Courts Ike Hodson, Debbie Zile (Highland County Prosecutor Anneka Collins’ assistant), Judge Kevin Greer and Sheriff Ron Ward. The seniors also visited the justice center and got to tour the building, including the jail.

The seniors appreciated the opportunity to make the trip and were thankful to Mrs. Juillerat for arranging the trip and to Mr. Michael for going with them.
