Whiteoak JOG students attend leadership retreat

By
-
The JOG students had the opportunity to attend Butler Springs Leadership Retreat on Wednesday, October 7.  Butler Springs was a great experience, and students learned a lot of things,  such as how to work together, experience something as a group, meet new people, conquer some fears, and build trust.

One of the big lessons they learned was how to be safe 50 feet above ground. They did this by learning how to put their safety harnesses on and how to transfer their clips to another cable safely. There was a lot of working together and smiles. The students who went were:  Zandra Storms, Caleb Jodrey, Caleb Scott, Ben Ruark, and Clint Ritchie, along with students from other schools. Thank you to Ms. Dietz for taking the students. They had a BLAST!!
