Trent Stadtmiller receives Jessica Myers Memorial Scholarship

The 2015 recipient of the Jessica Myers Memorial Scholarship, Trent Stadtmiller, recently received his award from Roger and Molly Myers.
Stadtmiller is going to be attending Wilmington College for agricultural education. He was chosen for the award due to his hard work ethic, his desire to continue his education and to pay that education forward by helping others.
Jessica Myers was a 16-year-old Lynchburg-Clay High School sophomore who passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at the Mercy Mt. Orab Hospital.
"The scope of this scholarship will be limited to Lynchburg-Clay Schools for this year, at least, but we have hopes that it will become a self-sustaining fund that other students across the county may be assisted from," the Myerses said in a news release announcing the scholarship earlier this year.
"The memorial scholarship will be needs-based for students who are not fully covered by some other programs or who would not be able to achieve their educational goal due to some monetary concern, and that they are doing their best to achieve good grades and further improve their education."
