Southern State Community College has officially opened registration for the upcoming Summer and Fall Semesters, welcoming new and returning students to enroll in a wide range of academic and workforce development programs.

Students can now secure their spots in courses designed to fit diverse schedules, including daytime, evening, and online options. Whether pursuing a degree, certificate, or transferring to a four-year institution, Southern State offers flexible pathways to help students achieve their educational and career goals.

The Summer Semester, which begins May 26, provides an excellent opportunity for students to accelerate their studies, catch up on credits, or explore new subjects in a condensed format.

The Fall Semester, which begins August 24, offers a full schedule of courses across multiple disciplines, including nursing, business, computer science, engineering, education, social services, and transfer programs.

Academic advisors are available to assist students with course selection, degree planning, and the enrollment process. Financial aid, scholarships, and payment plan options are also available to help make college more affordable.

New students are encouraged to apply online and complete the admissions process as soon as possible. Returning students can register through their student portal.
