St. Mary Catholic School students in Grades 2-4 attended Mass at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral as part of Catholic Schools Week activities.

Archbishop Dennis Schnurr presided over the mass and several area students participated.

• Ronald McDonald recently visited the students at St. Mary School and Patch of Heaven Preschool.

"A Friendship with Ronald McDonald" stressed the importance of being a good friend, cooperation, not bullying, getting out and exercising.

• It is Fish Fry time again! The Highland County Firefighters and St. Mary School will have fish fries every Friday during the Lenten season. Friday, Feb. 15 will be the first one.

Dinners will be served between 5 and 7 p.m. with carryout available.
