SSCC open house showcases new agriculture facility in Wilmington

To mark the opening of Southern State Community College’s new agriculture facility, the college will hold an open house event from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at SSCC’s North Campus, 1850 Davids Drive, Wilmington.
The public is invited to join us for tours, information and light refreshments.

The new 3,648-square-foot state-of-the-art building also includes a learning lab and greenhouse, allowing for an experiential learning environment.
The facility will be open for classes spring semester, which begins Jan. 8, 2018. Registration for classes will open to veterans on Nov. 6, to sophomores on Nov. 13 and to freshmen on Nov. 14.
