SSCC announces summer honors list

Southern State Community College has released its president’s and dean’s list for academic excellence for the summer quarter. To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average, while carrying a minimum of 12 academic credit hours. Those who achieve the dean’s list are also full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Named to the president’s list from Highland County are: Amanda Bainter, Eddie Cottrell, Brandon Frampton, Elisabeth Ingram, Tiffany Johnson, Nancy Rhodes, John Valler, Amanda Williams and Teresa Wisecup, all from Greenfield; Aaron Ballein from Highland; Cynthia Bevan, Andrea Brown, Catalina Florea, Ashley Gallimore, Danny Gillman, Marcia Huddleson, Jesse Johnson, Michael Kratochvil, Tami Kratochvil, Adam Morgan, Wayne Noble, Deborah Stoner, Jodelle Stricklett and Diana Suiter, all from Hillsboro; Brett Curtis and Brittany Everhart, both from Leesburg; Nathan McElwee and Tracy Snyder, both from Lynchburg; and Amanda Luman from Winchester.
