SSCC announces food program guidelines

Southern State Community College's Patri-Tots Learning Center announces sponsorship of the USDA-funded Child and Adult Care Food Program. Meals are available to all enrolled participants without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and will be served at no separate charge.

The following income eligibility guidelines for free and reduced-price meals are effective July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010:
• Free Meals ‹ Family size of one, $14,079 per year, $1,174 per month, or $271 per week; family size of two, $18,941 per year, $1,579 per month, or $365 per week; family size of three, $23,803 per year, $1,984 per month, or $458 per week; family size of four, $28,665 per year, $2,389 per month, or $552 per week; family size of five, $33,527 per year, $2,794 per month, or $645 per week; family size of six, $38,389 per year, $3,200 per month, or $739 per week; family size of seven, $43,251 per year, $3,605 per month, or $832 per week; family size of eight, $48,113 per year, $4,010 per month, or $926 per week; each additional family member, add $4,862 per year, $406 per month, or $94 per week.
• Reduced-Price Meals ‹ Family size of one, $20,036 per year, $1,670 per month, or $386 per week; family size of two, $26,955 per year, $2,247 per month, or $519 per week; family size of three, $33,874 per month, $2,823 per month, or $652 per week; family size of four, $40,793 per year, $3,400 per month, or $785 per week; family size of five, $47,712 per year, $3,976 per month, or $918 per week; family size of six, $54,631 per year, $4,553 per month, or $1,051 per week; family size of seven, $61,550 per year, $5,130 per month, or $1,184 per week; family size of eight, $68,469 per year, $5,706 per month, or $1,317 per week; each additional family member, add $6,919 per year, $577 per month, or $134 per week.
