Southern State volleyball players earn OCAC honors

Four players on the Southern State Community College volleyball team were honored during the Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference annual tournament held Oct. 22 at Ohio Christian College in Circleville. The recognized athletes include:

• Kelsey Juillerat, a second-year middle hitter for the SSCC Patriots and a graduate of Hillsboro High School was named First Team All OCAC;

• Jessica Geiger, a third-year outside hitter and graduate of H.H.S. was named Second Team All OCAC;

• Ashley Sanders, a first-year middle hitter and graduate of H.H.S. was named Second Team All OCAC; and

• Monique Burns, a first-year libero/utility and graduate of H.H.S. was named Second Team All OCAC and Libero of the Year.
