Southern State Singers to perform Christmas concert

The Southern State Singers will present a Christmas Concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 234 N. High St., Hillsboro. The program will include both sacred and secular holiday selections, including "Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel!" "Advent Cry," "In the Bleak Midwinter," "Angels We Have Heard On High," A Manger Bed," "Unto Us a Son is Given," "Adeste Fideles," "Gesu Bambino," "Some Children See Him," "Carols Around," "'Tis the Season," "Happy Holiday/White Christmas," "Snow" and "A Wreath of Carols." The Southern State Singers is a choral group comprised of students of Southern State Community College as well as members of the community.
