On Saturday, April 30, Southern Hills hosted a “Run for the Hills” 5k color run/walk that was well attended with 57 entries.
The event was held as a fundraiser for the Talbert House in memory of Jeremy Lee, a well-loved math teacher. Many participants were members of Jeremy’s family and friends and all seemed to have a good time as they were doused in color at various points along the way. This event raised a nice sum for the Talbert House with a check presentation to be held at a later date.
Southern Hills would like to thank those who made the event possible through their generous donations including Pepsi, Ryan Taulbee - The Print Shop, Allied Ambulance, and Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Several staff and students worked the registration, the water station and color stations and we would like to thank them for all their efforts. Southern Hills appreciates all you did to make this day a success.
