Southern Hills CTC math teacher retires

Veteran math teacher Mr. Elliot Wayne Walker retired from Southern Hills Career and Technical Center on March 31 after a 34-year career in education.

Mr. Walker taught in Florida for 12 years and for the past 22 years has taught at Southern Hills CTC in Georgetown.

Mr. Walker plans to enjoy his retirement with his wife at their home near Hillsboro in Highland County.
