Soil and Water Conservation Poster Contest winners announced

The Highland County Farm Bureau is pleased to sponsor the cash awards for the annual Soil and Water Conservation Poster Contest.

The theme for this year's contest was "Forests for People: More Than You Can Imagine!"  

The top county winners are pictured with Sherri Helterbrand, Farm
Bureau representative (left).

They are: (l-r)  Lindsey Lawson, first place from Lynchburg-Clay Middle School; Hunter Tira, second place from Hillsboro Middle School; Harlie Lawhorn, third place from Lynchburg-Clay Middle School; and Desiree Ames, fourth place from Bright Local.[[In-content Ad]]
