SOACDF honors Educational Excellence Competitive Grant recipients

The Southern Ohio Agricultural & Community Development Foundation recently recognized the recipients of the 2017-2018 Educational Excellence Competitive Grant.

The Educational Excellence Grant is a one-time grant of up to $7,500 for college upperclassmen to be used toward tuition, on-campus housing and lab fees to be used at an accredited institution. Applicants were scored by a committee on a combination of written essays and personal interviews.

Grant recipients included:

• Highland County: Caitlyn Arledge, Regan Bohrer, Emily Burwinkel, Lauren Grover, Cole Schaefer, Klay Walker.

• Adams County: Noah Anderson, Josie McDowell, Annie McFarland, Jenna Wright.

• Brown County: Mariah Haitz, Jacob Handra, Natalie Wagner.

• Clermont County: Juliann Trester.

• Clinton County: Loren Quallen.

• Fayette County: Bethany Reiterman.

• Gallia County: Kelsey Corbin, Chelsey Woerner.
