Shelby Dodds crowned McClain Homecoming Queen

On Friday night, McClain senior Shelby Dodds was officially crowned the 2014 McClain High School Homecoming Queen.

Dodds is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Dodds.

Dodds, along with her court, consisting of Payton Smith (freshman attendant), Maria Onusko (sophomore attendant), Anna Ehlers (junior attendant), Sydney Barton (senior attendant), Joshlin Lawson (queen attendant) and Rachel Onusko (queen attendant), were honored before the Week 3 football game vs. Zane Trace.

Senior captain Ryan Faulconer and Joe Ralph placed the tiara on Dodds before the game. Seniors Michael Aeh and Dylan Wheaton presented her with a bouquet of flowers.

Dodds thanked the crowd and her classmates and cheered on the Tigers in her pregame speech.

McClain lost the game 33-21.
