Shawnee State University to sponsor business networking seminar

Shawnee State University will be sponsoring a business networking seminar, Refuse to Schmooze and You Lose, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at the Endeavor Center in Piketon.
Participants will learn what business networking is, why they should network, where to utilize business networking, when business networking skills work to their advantage and social networking.
Some of the seminar’s objectives include learning how business networking skills can be a significant tool to use in meeting new people; making people feel welcome and branding your business; utilizing business networking skills not only in your business life but your personal life as well; and developing your ability to discuss any topic and learn when to listen.
The cost is $125 and includes instructional materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
