Sandra Nartker, intervention specialist for Hillsboro City Schools, was recently honored at the Horn Walter awards luncheon in Columbus for her outstanding achievement in special education.
Nartker provides instruction to kindergarten pupils at the Hillsboro Early Childhood Center.
She was the recipient of the Franklin B. Walter Outstanding Educator Award. The award is presented to one educator from each of Ohio’s 16 State Support Team regions, who have made extraordinary contributions to the education of students with disabilities.
Congratulations to Sandra Nartker for her dedication and hard work and the many hours she devotes outside of school hours to plan and work on activities to benefit her students.
