Reading the The Adventures of Flat Stanley allowed Mrs. Grandey's second grade class to continue on with a small project.  The three boys pictured from left to right, Ricky Powell, Dalton Shoemaker and Zane Bode wrote to a friend or relative who lived outside of Greenfield.  Flat Stanley had great adventures in Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
