Public speaking results

On Feb. 18, seven members of the Mowrystown FFA Chapter participated in the Sub-District Public Speaking Contest at Hillsboro High School.

Four of the seven participated in the Creed contest, those members were: Faith Lane, 9th; Chase Gorman, 8th; Trent Gorman, 6th; and Tabetha Morgan, who received 4th.

Kylie Douglas participated in the Advanced Prepared Speaking contest and placed second.

The Beginning Prepared Speaking contest participant from Mowrystown was Caitlin Frazer who received 5th.

Courtney Cummings received 4th in the Extemporaneous Speaking Contest. Junior Kylie Douglas and freshman Tabetha Morgan will be moving on to the District competition on the 26th of February.

Congratulations to all the members who participated in the Public Speaking Contest and to all the members advancing to Districts.
