Premier Showmen 4-H Club welcomes guest speaker Kelly Yeager

Premier Showmen 4-H Club 

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club welcomed guest speaker Kelly Yeager for an engaging and educational meeting focused on rabbit projects. Yeager, an experienced rabbit breeder and exhibitor, shared valuable insights with club members on how to successfully raise market rabbits and prepare for the upcoming county fair.

During the workshop, members learned what characteristics to look for in a quality market rabbit, how to care for and raise their animals properly, and the key components of successful showmanship. The highlight of the evening was a hands-on session where members practiced handling a rabbit and walking through a mock showmanship demonstration.

This was a great opportunity for our youth to gain confidence and experience with their animals before the fair. We are appreciative to Kelly for sharing her time and knowledge with us. 

Club members expressed excitement and appreciation for the chance to work directly with rabbits and deepen their understanding of the project.
